Authors with Good Teaching

Derek Prince

Derek Prince passed away in 2003, but he was a prolific writer and an amazing teacher, and I heartily recommend you pay a visit to his site. The people who run it now are very kind and compassionate, too.

Bill Johnson

I think Derek Prince is really good at explaining the basics and laying a good foundation for your understanding of what Jesus did and why it matters. When you’re ready to go deeper, though, Bill Johnson is really good at delving into the really fascinating, meaty stuff that really transforms how you view the world. Don’t be put off by the name. After I read that book I thought, “I can’t believe churches aren’t teaching people all this stuff!” When you’re ready, read this book. It’s very basic and so necessary.
