Writing Software Resources

The Resources for Independent Authors page was starting to look neglected. When I switched full-time to Linux I had to do a lot of research to replace a lot of software I had taken for granted when I still used Windows.

It turns out I relied quite a lot on certain software, and it was difficult finding alternatives. It occurred to me that it would probably benefit other authors for me to update my list of resources to include software for writers, including software that can run on Linux.

So I added a new section to the resources page, one dedicated just to software. It is divided first into categories based on what it might be used for, then under that it’s broken down by operating system.
